Fusion Development Program (FDP) is a year-round program for U7 and U8 Boys & Girls interested in transitioning from Recreation to Competitive Soccer.
Registration does not guarantee continuation in the Development Program. Players who do not meet all of the FDP fundamental requirements above will play in our Fusion Recreation Program.

5 Training Sessions
Players will learn the technical skills required to play the game, including Dribbling & Changing Direction, 1v1 Attacking & Defending, Passing & Receiving, Shooting & Finishing.
The goal is for each player to technically improve & have a head start when entering U9 Competitive Soccer.
7 Training Sessions & 7 Games
Players will continue to refine the technical skills introduced in blocks 1 & 2.
Players are placed into teams for training and games, based upon 1 friend play-with request. Teams are balanced to help ensure a positive learning experience for all players.
Fusion trainers lead all Training Sessions, Parent Volunteer Coaches will lead all Games.
FDP Uniform: $63
FDP Winter Block 3 will use the same uniform that was used for 2023 Fall FDP and 2023 Summer Rec. If you have a uniform from Fall FDP or Summer Rec you will NOT need to order a new one.
Home = NAVY & Away = WHITE
All players of the same age have sessions at the same location and time each night so your child will see their friends regardless of if they are on the same team.
Each child may have ONE FRIEND play-with request. The request MUST be reciprocal.
Play-with Request: ONE play-with request is allowed. The other player must request your name as well.
Group Formation: Groups/teams are formed for each 6-week block by gender, birth year & play-with request. Play-with request must be with a player within the same age group. Play ups are granted by ability only in FDP.
What to bring/wear each week:
Uniforms: Each player will receive ONE jersey at the start of their first session which should be worn for all sessions.
Shinguards: MANDATORY for ALL players of every age. Must be completely covered by long socks.
Soccer shoes: Recommended but not required, sneakers are also fine.
Water: Please bring plenty of water. Only water is allowed onto the turf field - do not bring sports drinks or glass containers.
No Jewelry allowed and Eyeglasses should be secured with a headband.
Soccer Ball: All players should bring a fully-inflated size 3 soccer ball to each session.
Q: Can I drop my child off at the dome and go do other things during the hour?
A: Typically we recommend that a parent/guardian be present with the child during the time they’re at the Dome in the event of any problems with the child during the session.
NO REFUNDS are allowed for the Winter FDP Program. Fusion Soccer Club may choose to award a Credit Voucher toward future FSC programs. Please contact the Fusion SC Office at info@fusionsoccermn.com if you have a special request to withdraw. Requests must be received in writing by the dates below. FSC will not refund after these dates unless we are unable to accept your child into the program. Any refunds will be in the form of a credit voucher valid toward future FSC programs, less a $30 administrative fee if you are registered for one Block, or $50 administrative fee if you are registered for two or three Blocks.
